Responsible Sourcing Policy and Training
Government targets state that by 2012 at least 25% of products used in construction must be from schemes recognised for responsible sourcing. The UK Contractors Group has set a target of 70% by 2015. What does this mean for you? And how can you make the most of this opportunity?
With this increasing focus on sustainable development within the construction sector there is a consequent need for companies to demonstrate that this sustainability is reflected throughout the supply chain. The BRE standard BES 6001 enables construction product manufacturers to ensure and prove that their products have been made with constituent materials that have been responsibly sourced.
Responsible Sourcing Consultancy
Responsible Solutions can support you to achieve recognised responsible sourcing standards where appropriate or to develop your own bespoke responsible sourcing policies if that is a more suitable option.
